Summer in San Francisco

Philanthropy is alive and well among young professionals in San Francisco! Summer of the Arts is an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about some of the Bay Area’s most active support groups composed of young professionals. The Fine Arts Museums’ ArtPoint partnered with BRAVO! CLUB (San Francisco Opera), ENCORE! (San Francisco Ballet), and Symphonix (San Francisco Symphony) to produce an event where guests could learn about these groups’ upcoming programs and meet like-minded people.

In the Julia Morgan Ballroom, more than 600 guests mixed and mingled while DJ Katz played ambient beats in the background. Buffets were set with platters full of delectable treats and bars were lined with a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines. Each of the participating organizations created special one-night-only deals on membership, giving attendees an incentive to join that night. Several guests walked away with new memberships to all four organizations and will reap the benefits for a full year or longer. ArtPoint uses this event to attract new members by offering 15 months of membership for the price of 12, an exceptional value for those who joined, who will be active through December 31, 2015.
