Nicole Ward

Ms. Ward is originally from Los Angeles, and graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a degree in Cultural Anthropology, and completed an Honors Thesis on Music, Oral Tradition and Performance in West Africa. She received the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Department of Anthropology in 1992.

Philanthropically, Ward serves on several boards within the San Francisco community. These include: the Board of Directors for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, ArtPoint Board of Directors, and the Advisory Committee of the Glow Foundation. Formerly, Ward served as Vice Chair of the Business Arts Council, Chair of the Arts Forum of the Commonwealth Club, Founder and Chair of Epicenter:Arts, and on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Ward’s ongoing support of the local arts community is fueled by her passion as an artist. She is a film and stage actor, commercial voice over actor, and a classically trained singer.
