Mr. Saxe is a Managing Principal and co-founder of Calvera Partners, LLC, a real estate investment and advisory firm targeting properties in supply constrained, urban markets throughout the United States. Prior to forming Calvera, Mr. Saxe was an Associate V.P., Investments for CIM Group in Los Angeles where he completed over $575 million in stabilized and opportunistic investments in apartments, condos, retail, office, and hotels during his tenure. In addition, Mr. Saxe asset managed 8 properties comprised of over 750,000 square feet of office, retail and warehouse space and 500 residential units. Previously, Mr. Saxe was a Senior Market Research Analyst with Equity Office Properties Trust, where he was responsible for analyzing potential acquisitions, dispositions, and developments in major office markets throughout the country.
Mr. Saxe has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Northwestern University where he graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He also received a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of Calvera, Mr. Saxe serves on the Board of Directors of the Young Adult Division and the Business Leadership Council of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, and on the Contemporaries Committee of the Contemporary Jewish Museum.
